Tata Altroz Facelift Launched in India with Prices Starting at ₹6.89 Lakh

A new version of the Tata Altroz series has been introduced. The new Tata Altroz Facelift is set to release and go live for sale in June, according to a few reports. Customers are already prebooking the model. The new Tata Altroz Facelift is set to launch with a price tag ranging from 6.89 lakh to 11.29 lakh.

The Altroz Series

Tata Motors has steadily upgraded the Altroz over the years to make it more appealing and suitable for different types of drivers. The original Altroz, launched in 2020, came with petrol and diesel engines and was praised for its strong build and 5-star safety rating.

In 2021, Tata launched the iTurbo variant with a more powerful turbo-petrol engine for those who wanted a sportier drive.

The 2022 update introduced the DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic) version, which made gear shifting smoother and improved driving comfort, especially in city traffic.

In 2023, Tata introduced the Altroz iCNG with a unique twin-cylinder CNG setup placed under the boot floor, helping to save luggage space while offering better mileage. This version was also made with safety and practicality in mind.

The previous year’s model, which was launched in 2024, the Tata Altroz Racer, was more likely a performance-driven model. The Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 120 PS power and 170 Nm torque, which means it gives a strong and responsive performance, especially when you accelerate. The turbo helps the engine perform better without using too much fuel.

Each of these updates shows how Tata brings new and improved models each year to continuously improve and keep its Altroz series alive.
